Borat Preservation Efforts

The Borana Rangelands Preservation Trust (BORAT) works to protect the legendary Borana Rangelands and Rangelands resources including biodiversity of the Horn of Africa through sound Management for the direct benefit of local Borana communities. The BORAT will use both Borana Community Traditional Rangelands Management systems (DEDHA) and Sciences - based world's best practice initiatives to protect and preserve the ecological nature of its aesthetic and landforms.
